Hein Schneider & Bond P.C. is experienced in investigating, defending and representing lenders, property owners, and insurance carriers in connection with claims and litigation involving mass mortgage and real estate fraud, as well as claims involving forged loan and real estate transfer instruments.

Our skilled team includes real estate and title attorneys and a title examiner who understand the nuances of the transactions and documents. We can properly investigate and handle cases involving fraud, forgery, misappropriation.

Among other significant engagements, we have:

  • Served as coverage counsel to various underwriters in connection with major claims requiring a thorough and detailed investigation, extensive reporting, and policy analysis under both owners and lender’s policies.
  • Represented title insurers and insureds in connection with major agency defalcations and misappropriations.
  • Represented insurers in significant mortgage fraud cases and have handled and administered hundreds of lawsuits involving insureds and the companies as a result of fraud committed.
  • Represented insurers in connection with cases, inquiries, and investigations filed or conducted by various Federal and State governmental departments and divisions in claims involving the underwriters and their insureds including the Missouri Department of Insurance, U.S. Attorney General’s Office, the Internal Revenue Service, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Postal Inspector’s office, Housing and Urban Development, and the Metropolitan Sewer District.
